Breitling watches: Four prestigious models to choose from

Breitling is definitely up there with the most highly regarded names in watches, and for several good reasons including that they’ve been around for over 120 years, and their timepieces have been favorites of different kinds of professionals, especially pilots.

Pilots have favored this watch since the launch of the Navimeter in 1952 since it has important features for pilots, including a “navigational computer” to handle navigational calculations like measuring climbing times and fuel consumption rates, and the ability to measure short times. You can still purchase a Navimeter today for a watch full of tradition and originality.

Another model currently available is the Windrider, which was styled after Breitling’s most popular model in history, the Chronomat. The Windrider was used by the elite flight team of the Italian Air Force for its original technical design. People wear this self-winding chronograph today for its unique technical design as well as its unique style.

The Professional is designed specifically for aviators, and has all the bells and whistles a pilot could ever want and/or need. This includes a built in micro transmitter in the Emergency watch, the electronic sophistication of the B-1, and ease of handling that comes in the Aerospace models under the Professional line of watches.

The Aeromarine watches are made for those with particular technical needs. There are a number of different models under this line, something for most any professional, and they are the most reliable and sturdiest of Breitling’s watches, made with the strictest criteria.

As you can see, these are serious watches, so if you’re in need of highly technical and accurate watches, or just want the nostalgia that comes with one of these, then a Breitling is for you.
